“Wir haben eine schöne Zeit in der Residence Lichtenvoorde verbracht. Die Anlage ist ruhig und hat eigentlich alles was man braucht an Infrastruktur. Es ist nur schade, dass der Park nicht groß genug ist für einen Brötchenservice oder ein Restaurant mit Frühstücksangebot. Allerdings war das Besteck bei Ankunft nicht sauber und man sollte die Silikonfugen im Bad mal erneuern. Das ist ein Aufwand von 1-2 Stunden und alle paar Jahre einfach notwendig. ”

“Heerlijk plekje in de Achterhoek! Grote tuin, lekkere hottub, fijne sauna en vooral veel privacy. Lekker om even bij te komen. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar! De living is echter wel klein als je er met meer dan 4 personen zou verblijven. Handig om vooraf te weten, is dat er een boiler is. Dit kan lastig zijn als je met meer dan 2 personen bent. De zoon van de eigenaren was erg vriendelijk en enorm behulpzaam.”

“Beds were very comfortable. Furniture in rooms very comfortable. Walking/biking trails amazing. Food was good. Service great. ** only issue: it’s very remote & Uber is nonexistent and taxis are extremely expensive.***. So make sure you rent a car. Overall, highly recommended. ”

“I chose this w/o knowing what to expect. Needed a place for 2 nights to be close to family. Small town atmosphere which had a great ladies store walking distance. The Hotel itself had great food and many patrons were eating on the patio on Saturday afternoon. The diningroom was busy w locals inside as well in the evening. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast for 15 euro was good value. The only thing we didnt like was the bed cover was too heavy and extra pillow choices would be better……

“Lovely hotel with exceptional great staff. We had the deluxe room which was spaceous and comfortable. It is right in the center of Winterswijk with a great terrace to sit and enjoy breakfast, lunch or diner.”
